Experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Position Starting September 2024

Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a primary school in Featherstone. This full-time position starts in September 2024 and requires a candidate with a strong background in school-based settings.

About the Role: This role involves providing comprehensive support to KS2 pupils, fostering their academic and personal growth. You will be working closely with the teaching staff to create an engaging learning environment, implementing strategies to support individual student needs, and contributing to the overall development of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
  • Help with the assessment and recording of pupils' progress.
  • Support the development of pupils' social and emotional skills.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is conducive to learning.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable.
