Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Providing individual and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
  • Supervising students during break times and school activities.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
  • A level 2/3 TA qualification or solid experience working in schools/with children is desired but not essential.
