Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about supporting students' educational journeys and comfortable providing personal care, including toileting assistance. This teaching assistant role requires a patient, caring individual who values the well-being and dignity of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons as a teaching assistant.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed in Wandsworth.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, ensuring students' comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities as a dedicated teaching assistant.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for all students in Wandsworth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in providing personal care and toileting assistance is highly desirable.
  • A patient, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous.
