Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Guildford

Start Date: September 2024

Position Type: Long Term to Permanent Position, Full Time, Term Time Only

Salary: £80 - £100 a day - Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Job Description:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant with Complete Classroom Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students with special needs in their educational journey. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with diverse abilities.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Educational Health Care plans (EHCP’s)
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in developing social skills and fostering independence.
  • Adapting instructional materials to meet the unique needs of individual students.
  • Assisting with personal care and mobility, as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year SEND Experience, ideally within SEMH.
  • Either a childcare or Healthcare background.
  • Qualifications are desirable not essential.
  • Subject to DBS and Right to work checks.
