SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham (B15) | £95-£105 | Long-term to perm | September

Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a background in SEND?

LTF Recruitment are currently collaborating with alternative provision based in Birmingham area. We are looking for an experienced individual to join a positive working environment where providing care and appropriate teaching assistance for young children is the core goal.

Your duties will include:

  • Working alongside the classroom teacher and promote a positive learning environment that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.
  • Helping prepare and deliver lesson material.
  • Building relationships with children's parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student's progress.
  • Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • A level 3 TA qualifications or equivalent desirable.
  • An enhanced DBS and two references.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.
