A mainstream primary school in Stalybridge, Tameside, wish to appoint an experienced Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2024, on a permanent basis.

This Ofsted rated GOOD primary school have a highly skilled, committed team who strive for the upmost success for their children and have a caring and supportive ethos at their core.

Primarily, this Level 3 Teaching Assistant post will be to work in KS2, but the postholder will be required to be flexible across the whole school as needed. The successful applicant will have -

  • Initiative and the ability to work in a team
  • The ability to share the school aims and contribute to the ethos and vision for the whole school
  • A passion to work with all pupils from all age groups
  • Substantial experience
  • Commitment, flexibility, enthusiasm and humour
  • A genuine desire to support pupil well-being and SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 3 is essential.
