Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2

Randstad is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work 5 days a week for the academic year. The school you will be working at is located in Runcorn and easily accessible by public transport, car and railway. You will be expected to assist the class teacher with day to day tasks and work with pupil who requires 1:1 assistance throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • You must have current experience working in a Primary school setting
  • Have experience working 1:1 or confident working with children who need additional support
  • Be confident in your ability to work within different classrooms and with pupils with varying needs.
  • Be part of the team and be flexible when required

To register for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
  • Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
  • Have a flexible, can-do approach
  • All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
