Secondary Teaching Assistant
Engage Education are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants on behalf of an expanding Secondary School in the Barking and Dagenham area. The role is to start in September and would be a fixed 1 year contract initially with the potential to become permanent.
The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who are comfortable supporting children with various special educational needs ranging from Autism, ADHD, SEMH and physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative and can think on their feet as not every day will be the same.
The ideal applicant will be:

Experience working or volunteering with young people ages 11-16

Experience supporting young people with SEND, either in a Secondary school or any other capacity.

Ability to inspire and innovate in the classroom
