Job Description:We are excited to welcome a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to our team for a long-term, full-time position starting in September. This role involves supporting general classroom activities and providing targeted assistance to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and impactful lessons.
- Offer one-on-one support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
- Facilitate small group work and personalized learning plans.
- Assist in preparing educational materials and classroom resources.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Supervise students during breaks and on school outings.
- Work alongside the broader school team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience of working with children with SEND.
- A genuine passion for education and dedication to student development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant UK qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
