Job Type: Supply (temporary/short-term placements)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, must be able to arrive by 8:15 AM

Qualifications Required:

• Level 2 or above UK child-related qualification
• Enhanced DBS (valid or on the update service)

Experience Required:

• Previous experience (up to 12 months) in a similar role is desired

Job Description:

Academics is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to work across various primary schools, supporting students from Reception to Year 6. This role requires flexibility, as you will be expected to adapt to different classroom settings and work with children of varying ages and abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 or above UK child-related qualification
• Ability to commute to and from schools
• Punctuality and reliability, able to arrive no later than 8:15 AM
• Flexibility to work with different year groups (Reception to Year 6)
• Good knowledge of safeguarding practices
• Enhanced DBS (valid or on the update service)

Desirable:

• SEN knowledge and experience working with SEND children
• Proactive, caring, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to handle challenging behaviour with confidence and professionalism
