Academics are supporting secondary schools across Runcorn and the surrounding areas including Warrington and Widnes and our local schools urgently require Teaching Assistants to support SEN pupils within a mainstream classroom setting on both long term and short term placements.

Your new role as a Teaching Assistant with Academics

You will be responsible for supporting pupils within mainstream classroom settings.

You will need to be nurturing, caring and pro-active and actively encourage access to the curriculum in a way that benefits the pupils and their needs focussing on progression and their classroom engagement.

Our schools are looking to appoint someone who is able to hit the ground running and make a real positive impact on their students.

You will need to have experience of supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and have great communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with students, teachers and parents.

All suitable applicants will be subject to a registration interview, 2 years worth of referencing and must either hold or be willing to get an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
