Zest Education is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our a special educational needs school in Kenilworth. With multiple vacancies available, we are offering both full-time and part-time positions for September starts.

The school is focused on providing exceptional support for children and young people aged 5-19 who have a range of needs, including autism, speech, and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and associated behavioural challenges. By offering personalised learning experiences, the school enables students to engage in real-life activities and explore their interests and preferences with the guidance of our committed staff.

As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 and small group support to students, both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can create positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families. Empathy, patience, and resilience are key qualities needed to support students facing social, emotional, and behavioural obstacles.

Ideal candidates should have prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs or have a background in a residential/care setting. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
