A great opportunity to join a SEN school as a Teaching Assistant in Croydon for young people aged 11 to 19 years has become available. The school meets the requirements of pupils with a range of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements, speech, language, and communication difficulties. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to work closely with the students and to support them in and out of the classroom.

The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis and this will require working with students one-to-one and in small groups to best manage their behaviour and academic progress. The Ideal Teaching Assistant will require prior experience in dealing with challenging behaviour and one to one support. The Teaching Assistant position will be Monday to Friday during school term time only and this specialist SEN school offers unrivalled opportunities.
