Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for early years education? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception and Year 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the early development of children in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant:- Provide in-class support in both Reception and Year 1
- Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities
- Help manage classroom routines and transitions
- Support individual and group learning, ensuring inclusion for all pupils
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Confidence supporting Early Years and KS1 students
- A calm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners
- A positive attitude and willingness to be a hands-on member of the team
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
