Teaching Assistant - Rainham

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive secondary school team in Rainham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, particularly those with special educational needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to provide specialist SEN classroom support, as well as assist SEN pupils within a mainstream setting. Working with students across KS3 and KS4, you'll play an important role in helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver focused support to pupils with special educational needs

  • Assist in both classroom and small group settings

  • Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to implement support strategies

  • Encourage independence and confidence in student learning

Position Details:

  • Role: Teaching Assistant

  • Location: Secondary School in Rainham

  • Start Date: As soon as possible

  • Key Stages: KS3 and/or KS4

  • Pay: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)

  • Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time
