Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting an Ofsted-rated "Good" high school in Northwich as they are looking to appoint a number of motivated and reliable teaching assistants for long-term contracts due to resignations and maternity cover. This is a long-term full-time contract that will last until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
Within your new role you will be joining an extremely supportive and welcoming team of like-minded education professionals. You will be supporting a number of classes across the school on a timetabled basis, supporting teachers with general classroom and behaviour management. You will support a number of different pupils with varying needs on a 1:1 and group basis, so the ability to take a pupil-centred approach is essential. You will not only offer intervention and booster sessions (as well as other general classroom responsibilities), you will also implement an array of positive behaviour strategies and support a number of pupils within the main classrooms with SEN such as mobility needs (wheelchair bound), ASD, LD and ADHD.
