Team Assistant

Our client is a leading independent mid-market private equity firm specialising in active investment in UK and Western European growth companies. We focus on enterprise values between £50m-£350m across sectors including business services, industrials, healthcare, education, consumer, and leisure. Our firm maintains an open and professional atmosphere, and we are currently seeking an office/team assistant to become an integral part of our support team.

Role

Type: Permanent - £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday - Core working hours with an 8:30 am start required
Location: Central London office

As an office/team assistant, you will provide professional and timely support across various Office and Executive Assistant (EA) functions. You will support two EAs and report to the Finance Director. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

ResponsibilitiesReception Duties:
  • Meet and greet visitors to ensure a professional experience.
  • Provide hospitality services such as tea, coffee, and water for clients.
  • Manage meeting rooms, including setting up IT and AV equipment.
  • Organize board lunches and catering.
Assistant EA Duties:
  • Provide support and additional coverage for the two EAs.
  • Enter data of contacts and interactions into the firm's CRM system.
  • Assist with office-related tasks such as printing, binding, and posting.
Office Coordinator Duties:
  • Order and manage office supplies.
  • Manage and replenish kitchen supplies, maintain the coffee machine.
  • Assist in planning and executing office social events.
  • Liaise with building reception, security, and general maintenance.
  • Maintain a high standard of office environment.
  • Answer office telephones and aid with general office tasks.
Looking For:
  • Good IT skills with proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and mobile devices.
  • Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, taking ownership of the role.
  • Previous office experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Efficient worker in a small, close-knit team.
  • Presentable and professional 'front of house' appearance.
Remuneration:
  • Annual Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
