We're looking for an outstanding Credit Compliance & Audit Team Leader, working on a hybrid basis. As the Compliance & Audit Team Leader you will be responsible for revision of Credit Policy and ensuring and monitoring compliance with Credit Policy, SOX and audit requirements, which includes performing internal department audits and reviewing processes. You will also manage a team of Compliance and Audit Controllers supporting the work you do. How you will make a difference: * Conduct periodic audits of key areas, review results with the management team and put action plans in place to address key issues * Responsible for monitoring and communication of the SOX requirements of the department * Maintain a compliance and audit model, ensuring the departments Credit Policy is being adhered to * Be the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the completion of requested tasks * Ensuring direct reports deliver results and support to the SLA's or deadlines * Responsible for the constant review of team's and department's processes and activities for accuracy, efficiency and fit for purpose Skills for Success * Deep understanding of the internal- and external- audit processes * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail * Leadership Skills - managing, motivating and training a team of 3 * Be comfortable to make a decision, be assertive and adaptable * Strong stakeholder management, negotiating and influencing skills * Practical knowledge in accounting/finance would be beneficial What's in it For You We're in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy and commitment of our people.
