We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our client based in Milton Keynes

Hours of work 6am-6pm 3 shifts per week (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday x 4 weeks and then onto Wednesday, Thursday and Friday x 4 weeks with a shift change over in between.)

Scope of role:

  • Managing staff attendance and holidays
  • Monitoring performance and motivating team
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement
  • Working to production
  • KPI's and measures including quality, waste, re work
  • Updating production reports
  • Working closely with other departments and functions to resolve issues
  • Conduct employee training
  • Deputising for counterparts and Managers
  • P & L awareness

Skills & attributes:

  • Consistent background as a Leader within a manufacturing/warehousing environment
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Problem solving
  • Worked in FMCG industries
