Catering Team Leader – Lincoln – ASAP Temp

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Team Leader – Catering for an organisation in Lincoln. You will need to work Monday – Friday 37.5. hours per week (occasional on call weekends)

The role will involve:

  • Managing a team of catering staff including chefs, cooks and kitchen staff
  • Creating and developing menus that meet the diverse dietary requirements of patients, staff, and visitors
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, and quality assurance
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to H&S regulations and best practices
  • Manage kitchen expenses and control costs while maintaining high-quality food offerings
  • Monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, and place orders for food supplies and kitchen equipment to maintain smooth operations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
  • Comprehensive knowledge of allergens, HACCAP and COSH
  • Previous cooking experience
