Team Manager, £45ph, CIN/CP, Cheshire East
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Team Manager to join the Children In Need and Child Protection Service in Macclesfield to be based in the office a minimum of 3x a week. Within the CIN and CP Service, the team cover cases from the front door (so duty is managed within the service) through CIN and CP and PLO.

We are looking for a candidate with management experience and a background in child protection.
The expectation of the manager is to:
  • Manager a team of Social Workers, Family Support Worker and Social Work Apprentices.
  • Manage duty on a rota of one day every 4 days (it is expected that managers are in the office on their duty day).
  • Allocate work to the team.
  • Chair strategy meetings and pre-proceedings meetings.
  • Provide reflective supervision to staff.
  • Drive practice standards within the team as part of our improvement journey.
