Team Manager - Family Support - £42.50 per hour

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Experience within section 7s, child protection, PLO and initial assessment
• Extensive Management/Supervising experience
• Social Work Qualification

As the Team Manager you will be responsible for leading Social Workers and Advanced Practitioners in your teams specialising in either Child in Need, Child Protection or Children in Care cases.

This authority based in East London use the Better Together Practice Framework which is based on the ideas and concepts which underpin Restorative Practice and draws from other strength-based approaches, such as Systemic and Trauma Informed Practice. This allows you to use your own ideas to shape the way you work with the service users.

You will ensure that the team is supported and all interventions being undertaken are planned, purposeful and focused. Fundamentally making sure that risk is managed well and intervention is only undertaken when it is in the child's best interests.
