Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the running and strategic development of the high support element of the Sutton DAS Refugee Service.
  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of partnerships and engagement strategies for the high support service.
  • To develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for the high support element • To manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures for the high support service.
  • To lead on the timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in the high support service, in line with contract requirements 
  • To lead on the development and implementation of the high support service’s annual Business Plan and Equality plan. 
  • Lead on the development and implementation of the co-production strategy across the high-support service 
  • To support the Team Leaders and Recovery Support Workers to achieve the agreed standards of service delivery in the high support element, in compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and Hestia policies and procedures. 
  • To ensure a healthy and safe environment for employees, service users, visiting professionals and other visitors by ensuring service delivery is in line with organizational procedures and H&S Legislation across the service. 
  • To provide effective and inspiring leadership, management and support to Team Leaders and Recovery Workers across the service.
  • To oversee the recruitment and induction of all new staff and to support the Team Leaders to meet their recruitment requirements for the service.
  • To undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations and to chair hearings using the organization's procedures when required.
  • To lead in planning, negotiating and managing the service budgets 
  • To manage the financial accountability of the  Sutton DAS Refugee Service by operating within Hestia’s financial policies and procedures.
  • To make best use of Hestia’s property, equipment and Information Technology at all times.
  • To work with all service users to enable them to work alongside staff as partners in the delivery of services.
  • To define the relationship between service users and staff as one of mutuality and reciprocity, rather than of dependence and co-produce the service with a focus on users’ strengths, assets and aspirations.
  • To develop co-production projects with service users that can help participants to extend their social network, well-being and friendships and improve mental health, resilience and coping strategies and increase the range of opportunities open to them.
  • To ensure that the organization’s strategies are met and policies, procedures and values are adhered to in all matters of service delivery in the high support element.
  • To work with the Senior Management Team including the Service Manager, Area Manager and Regional Director to enable the organization to develop its aims and objectives by participating in strategic planning and delivery processes to further organizational policy and practice development in the high support element.
  • To promote the aims, objectives and service delivery of the organization, and represent the organization by building effective relationships with a range of local commissioners and other relevant key stakeholders and external agencies
