Technical Accountant

Role: Technical Accountant
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 pa
Location: London

Finitas have partnered with a fast-paced London Market Insurer in search of a Technical Accountant. You will have experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, journal postings, cash flows, and other general financial administration.

Requirements:

• Financial services experience, specifically within the insurance sector.
• Relevant accounting qualification.
• Deep understanding of the market and London Market Operations
• Proficient in gross and ceded premium, claims, expenses, investments, and FX processing and documentation.
• Good knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manages accounting processes within timelines and to the required control standards.
• Operates processes in finance systems at an expert user level demonstrating an understanding of the system configuration.
• Quality, accuracy and timeliness of reports / analyses

As per the above, this role will be up to 3 days remote.
