Reed Business Support are excited to be working with local insurance provider in their search for a Technical Claims Handler! Based in Killamarsh, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with a good technical background with time served as a motor technician or mechanic who may be looking at getting stuck into a more office-based environment.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

About the role:

  • Handling inbound enquiries from customers regarding potential claims
  • Directing them to a repairer where appropriate
  • Assisting repairers with our claims process
  • Authorising valid repairs
  • Processing invoices for payment of valid claims
  • Handle claims on policies speaking to customers and clients in order to process a claim and reach a settlement

About you:

  • An adaptable and positive attitude
  • Ready to undertake a new challenge working in a busy office
  • Previous experience within the motor industry is essential for Technical Claims Handlers
  • Experience providing a positive customer experience
  • Proficient in MS Office software
