Reed Food and FMCG are currently recruiting for a Technical Co-ordinator to join a Food Manufacturing Business in Truro.   

This role is full time, 4 days a week. Made up of 4 x 8-hour days, allowing you flexibility on which day you have off.

My client is looking for someone who has experience in the Food Industry or in a Manufacturing environment. The role sits within the technical team which means the job is made up of lots of different duties including Specification Management, Auditing and liaising with customers.

Job Title: Technical Co-ordinator

Location: Truro, Cornwall      

Pay: £13.64 PH (32 Hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Specification management – manage internal and customer facing product specifications, including generating new specifications and updating existing specifications as required.

Assistance in Audits: Support in preparation for and during internal and external audits, ensuring all required documents are readily available and compliant.

Continual improvement process: Identify areas for process improvement related to documentation, record-keeping, and administrative tasks.

Responding to customer requests in an accurate and professional manner, from answering individual customer queries to completing technical information for larger food manufacturing and retail clients

Person Specification

Knowledge or a background in FMCG

Strong attention to detail

Food experience is desired however not essential
