Technical Designer

We are a leading recruitment firm currently seeking a highly skilled draftsperson for a fantastic client in the joinery and furniture making industry.

As a Draftsperson you will be a vital member of their team, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings to drive their manufacturing process forward. Collaborating closely with Project Managers and production teams, you will translate design concepts into meticulous drawings for client approval and production.

This role is designed for an experienced draughtsperson with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cabinet maker or bench joiner and a further two years’ experience as a draughtsperson within the bespoke joinery or furniture industry.

Experience in producing accurate technical drawings in 2D AutoCAD and to convert design concepts into technical furniture drawings for client approval and manufacture. Experience in Inventor would also be very advantageous.
