We are looking for a Technical Development Manager to join our friendly and energetic team.

What you’ll be doing…
 
Reporting to the Strategic Product Manager, you will be responsible for growing market share of new and existing product lines into all market sectors of the Solvents BU.
  • Engaging regularly with customers via face to face and virtual sales meetings.
  • Develop an opportunity pipeline.
  • Attend joint visits with business unit colleagues to grow market share of new and existing product lines
  • Develop the BU’s sustainable product portfolio.
  • Work to agreed key performance indicators.
Your background…
Must have…
  • Based in the Northwest Area preferably up to 1 hour commute from Runcorn headquarters.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as being a team player.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Experience in product formulation.
  • Experience in Business Development.
Nice to have…
  • A degree in STEM or Business-related subjects.
  • Field sales experience in a commercial role.
  • Experience in Chemical Distribution.
