Job Title: Electrical Engineer (RAID)

Location: Telford

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £17.44

Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, a leading organisation in the technology industry, is seeking a talented RAID Engineer to join their team in Telford. As part of the Customer Satisfaction & Quality team, the RAID Engineer will play a vital role in analysing, reworking, and diagnosing the issues of printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Responsibilities:

  • Check and rework the boards
  • Perform component analysis, including understanding the specifications, tolerances, and potential alternatives
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to PCBAs, resolving defects, malfunctions, or performance problems
  • Ensure quality control by conducting thorough testing, inspection, and failure analysis
  • Continuously optimise assembly processes to enhance efficiency and maintain high quality
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, analyses, and findings for future reference and improvement

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of electronics
  • Desirable knowledge of PCB design, manufacture, and testing
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
