Role: Techincal Engineer - Utilities

Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor

Location: Solihull / Coventry

Project: HS2

Day rate: £350 - £450 PAYE

Long term contract

Randstad is currently looking for an experienced Technical Engineer to work on HS2 in Solhull focusing your expertise in the utilities sector. As Engineer you will be responsible for Quality Control, Check Sheets, As-Builts as well as many other key quality inspections. The business are ideally looking for someone experienced dealing with large scale major civil engineering projects, in order to hit the ground running once joining the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative utilities solutions that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Implementation and Testing: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of utilities systems to ensure they are efficient, safe, and reliable.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and management of project milestones to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to resolve engineering challenges during the construction and operational phases.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as industry regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • Cat & Genny (Desired but not essential)
