Our client is a cutting-edge provider of innovative lighting solutions, specialising in sustainable and energy-efficient technologies. 

They are seeking a talented Technical Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Redditch. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their customers receive exceptional technical support and solutions. You will work closely with their engineering and customer service teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide product guidance, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of their products and services.

Technical Engineer - Key Responsibilities
  • Control Product Verification Test (PVT) plans across internal and external laboratories.
  • Conduct PVT activities such as product testing, equipment maintenance and calibrations.
  • Create and maintain product technical files.
  • Develop a deep understanding of their lighting products, their features, functionalities, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to lighting and controls.
  • Create and update technical support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
Technical Engineer - Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in product based technical support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Electrical product experience will be sufficient.
