Technical Lead

Technical Lead with a solid background in software engineering plus key skills in designing and architecting Azure hosted microservices is sought by a hyper growth PaaS based in Birmingham.

Working at the forefront of B2C technology this Technical Lead will play a key role in re-platforming(from a monolithic to microservices architecture), implementing software engineering best practice and driving DevOps innovation to facilitate rapid business growth over the coming months.

This role would suit a senior or lead engineer or architect with hands on capabilities across architecture, engineering and DevOps who is looking for a 'number one' technical leader role and a clear progression pathway into a CTO role in the future.

This Technical Lead based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

- Solid serverless/ microservices architecture experience
- Strong software engineering skills - Python, Node.js, React.js etc
- Solid containerisation skills - Docker, Kubernetes etc
- Strong CI/CD pipeline creation - Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure DevOps etc
- Strong general Azure skills
- Experience building and deploying cloud based products
- A delivery focused, mission driven personality who is comfortable driving innovation
- Any team leadership or mentorship would be a plus

This Technical Lead based near Birmingham will receive:

- Starting salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience
