Technical Modeler (Anaplan)

Bristol (3 Days a week on site)

Permanent Role, £65k Plus Package

We are lookin for a Technical Modeler to play a key role in evolving business models, working closely with change colleagues to ensure that requirements are captured for new platforms and propositions.

Responsibilities of the Technical Modeler.

• Aid the team with its plan to update and re-platform a number of complex accounting models.
• Be the subject matter expert for the team.
• Ensure the new models are designed and built in a consistent manner where applicable and comply with pre-defined business policies.
• Perform actual model build work and support the model build work performed by other members of the wider team.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders within the business.
• Partner with wider business stakeholders to ensure that the right data sources are in place to enable models to work.
• Undertake regular model and assumption reviews and respond to ongoing business changes, such as new regulatory requirements and changes in pricing.

Skills are required of the Technical Modeler.

• Experience of Anaplan platform and Anaplan model building.
• A basic understanding of financial concepts and jargon.
• Must have experience with complex model building skills (high data volume, multi-dimensional) - from design through to development, testing and deployment.
• Ability to create and execute plans.
• A self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
