Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £50,000-£65,000

We are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for an exciting role in Manchester City Centre. As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with world-class organisations across diverse industries such as electronics, finance, medical, and automotive sectors. You will play a key role in managing projects from bid to successful completion, ensuring they meet agreed budgets and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales process by managing the engineering and project delivery input for technical software bids.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple simultaneous customer projects, often highly complex technical software projects.
  • Act as a proactive member of account management teams to maintain and increase sales within client accounts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to nurture and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Build and manage effective project teams, including engineers on the project.
  • Manage overall project scope, cost, and timeline.
  • Create and manage technical project plans, risk logs, change requests, and dependency logs.
  • Work closely with technical teams and leads.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software project management.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience with relevant methodologies.
  • Ability to grasp new technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sociable, confident, and capable of dealing with pressure and deadlines.
