Technical Sales Engineer

We are currently working with an organisation in Essex who are looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer.

They are a well established supplier of electrical products with multiple UK sites, and relationships with manufacturers internationally.

This is a newly created position working very closely with clients and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and provide sound technical advice.

Responsibilities: 

• develop long-term relationships with clients; managing and interpreting their requirements
• provide pre-sales technical assistance and after sales support
• attend nationwide client and supplier visits (some overseas travel may also be required) 
• negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
• ensuring that sales targets are met

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in electrical / electronic engineering (related degree education or equivalent also desirable)
• At least 2 years of experience and proven success in a similar role
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude
• A willingness to travel, with overnight stays when required
