Work with a leader within the life science industry helping our client promote their products enable scientists worldwide to advance their knowledge in life science sector. This is a great opportunity for PhD graduates that are looking to use their background in a customer facing role selling products related to cell biology, DNA, RNA and protein analysis.

Role Overview

This is a sales role to develop sales within key academic and government accounts in the North of England, selling an extensive range of highly innovative life science products and customized solutions to researchers.

Key Duties

  • Excellent territory analysis, planning and reporting skills
  • Dedicated to always delivering a high level of personal service to customers.
  • Communicate internally using existing tools and methods.
  • Maintain a customer relationship management (CRM) database for customers in the territory.
  • Prospect and map new customers while identifying relevant customers for new product launches.

Person Specification

  • PhD in Life Sciences or a life science degree
  • At least 1 years' sales experience
  • Essential: Full, clean driving license
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, determined, and personable.
  • Highly organized, structured; skilled at managing time effectively and able to deliver under pressure.
