  • Contributing to incident, service request management, capacity, availability, problem, change and knowledge management activities within the team, to ensure the service is highly available and continually improved.
  • Ensuring all changes are technically reviewed and assessed, in line with L&G change management processes, and that the team represent the changes at the change approval board, in line with policy
  • Actively identifying risks, ensuring they are appropriately logged and tracked at the appropriate forums, and taking appropriate action to mitigate or resolve in line with policy
  • Providing support to major incidents as they occur, and manging subsequent activities needed to prevent re-occurrence via Problem Management, in line with company policy
Qualifications

Who we're looking for:
  • A technical qualification within one of the key technologies within the service tower or equivalent experience;
    • Azure
    • AWS

  • Experience of running in-house services or managing outsourced suppliers.
  • Experience of operating in a regulated entity, with strong focus on delivering services in line with IT Service Management frameworks
  • An IT Service Management qualification would be a huge plus!
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution

  • Private medical insurance (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years' service. There's also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice
  • There are the many discounts we offer - both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
