Technical Support Analyst required by my leading Basingstoke company
Full-time, Onsite
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated 1st / 2nd Support Engineer with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, ensuring smooth technology operations. SQL knowledge is advantageous, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1st Line Support: Respond to IT support requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Office 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, licenses, and troubleshoot Office 365 issues.
- Incident Management: Log and track incidents, escalating when necessary.
- Hardware/Software Support: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- User Training: Provide basic training on Office 365 tools.
- Documentation: Maintain IT process and procedure documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong Office 365 administration experience.
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with Windows OS and common software applications.
- SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and proactive approach.
- Customer Service: Committed to high user satisfaction.
- Team Player: Collaborative and adaptable.
