Our client has a permanent, full-time vacancy for a Technical Trainer to cover Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire regions.
Overview
The Trainer is a specialist responsible for increasing company productivity by driving continuous improvement via high quality engaging training. Which aims to teach new skills, knowledge and systems, eliminate inconsistencies and inspire Teammates.
The trainer will be responsible for creating and delivering training packages complete with materials and tutorials. They will be responsible for ensuring the training is embedded, checked and feedback is given to individuals.
The Trainer will be responsible for ensuring high quality training supports initiatives for continuous improvement whilst working closely with Management.
Role
To create and develop relevant training documentation and support mapping out training plans and schedules.
Designing and developing high quality and consistent training via a range of methods, for example: face to face training.
Work with the senior training personnel to roll out new initiatives assisting in the development of the training and roll out package to ensure consistency.
Regularly liaising with the senior training personnel on new ways of delivering solutions and introducing best practice training initiatives to the operations.
Provide effective and thorough feedback on training outcomes ensuring best practice is understood and shared.
Work alongside the Performance and Quality Team to proactively identify training opportunities and to track benefits of training delivered.
Requirements
Experience of creating and delivering training packages to large audiences using a variety of different methods.
Training qualification.
Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly.
Ability to be hands on and lead by example.
Experience of delivering training to others either in a group or one to one.
Excellent planning program, management and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail
Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of our organisation, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary.
Excellent presentation skills.
Experience of Microsoft Office suite.
Must have great organisational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives.
Good time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask to enable you to effectively manage training schedules.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.
Must be prepared to travel with a full driving licence and have a flexible approach to work. In addition to the salary, the role comes with a car allowance.
