Network IT is currently recruiting for a Technology Regulation / Assurance Specialist, to join a financial services client of ours on a 12 month initial contract.

This is a key role with our banking client, who are currently undergoing a lot of modernisation activity within their technology areas. You would be working within a newly formed team, to help ensure adherence and compliance with regulations (such as PRA).

Our client has a couple of projects in mind specifically:

  • Implementing a regulation register toolset to help plan, monitor and eliminate risks for non-compliance.
  • Setting up an assurance plan for IT, in the midst of a large amount of IT transformation and modernisation.

Role: Technology Regulation / Assurance Specialist
Duration: 12 months
Status: Inside IR35
Rate: Negotiable
Location: London – 1 or 2 days per week onsite

Key Details:
  • Must have a background in financial services (global or international banking preferably), in regulatory compliance / controls / assurance / audit.
  • Strong knowledge of PRA requirements for Third Party Risk Management, outsourcing, operational resilience, continuity.
  • Background in IT Regulatory controls, compliance and assurance.
  • Horizon Scanning / 1st and 2nd line of defence reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of Assurance Planning for IT and technology projects specifically.
  • Knowledge of toolsets that could support the implementation of a regulation register (eg. ServiceNow).
  • Programme Management or leadership experience would be useful, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
