Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £100-£130 per day (depending on experience)
Empowering Learning are seeking a Technology Technician to work in a Secondary School based in Newcastle. The role is set to start in September and would be running for the full academic year and could turn into a permanent opportunity for the right Technology Technician.
Position Details:
- Role: Technology Technician
- Contract Type: 1 year Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
- Start Date: September 2024
Duties:
- Supervise pupils in and out of lessons, for example clubs and after school activities.
- Prepare the use of specialist equipment and resources.
- Manage and monitor stock and supplies and catalogue when required.
- Create a productive working environment.
- Maintain student records.
- Create feedback for pupils that relates to their progress and achievements.
- Invigilate exams and conduct routine marking of work.
- Maintain a safe, organised and hygienic environment for all pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Be aware of policies and procedures that relate to child protection, health and safety and security of students.
- Contribute to the overall work and ethos of the school.
- Work alongside other professionals and support the classroom.
- Be apart of training and learning activities.
