Job Title: Tekla Detailer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Tekla Detailer to join a leading structural steel contractor based in Preston. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a well-established team working on a variety of structural steel projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel detailing and be confident using Tekla Structures to produce accurate 3D models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed Tekla 3D models for structural steelwork

• Generate fabrication and erection drawings, GA drawings, and reports

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams

• Ensure all detailing work is accurate, buildable, and aligned with project deadlines

• Contribute to design and detailing solutions during project development

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer within the structural steel industry

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures is essential

• Strong understanding of fabrication and construction processes

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Must be able to commute daily to the Preston office (this is not a remote role)
