Nicholas Howard Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Telephone Business Development Manager to join a scaling FinTech client. We're looking for candidates with good energy, and a desire to work at fast pace in a positive and highly professional business development team!

Based in Cambridge (hybrid), the purpose of the role is to drive new business through high volumes of outbound activity, phone, email and social engagement.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Conduct daily outbound calls and use Linkedin to promote SaaS products to potential clients.
    • Maintain a high level of activity to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
    • Schedule product demonstrations for the Business Development Executives providing a sufficient level of information so that the presentation can be tailored to the specific needs and interest of each individual client.
    • Conduct product demonstrations to prospective clients on occasion.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Regularly track and report on sales activities and progress towards goals.
    • Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and areas for growth.
    • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on potential product enhancements or marketing campaigns.
    • Manage customer relationships through CRM tools, ensuring all communications are logged and customer needs are met promptly.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience in B2B sales and outbound calling is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • High level of energy, motivation, and dedication to continuous improvement.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
    • Strong ethical standards and a professional demeanour.
