Role: Telephone Collector
Salary: 24k - 26k
Location: Denton, Manchester

My client, a parking fine operator, is looking for a dedicated Telephone Collector to join their busy team. You will work to recover debts on behalf of private parking companies, utilising a customer-focused approach to resolve payment issues while adhering to company policies.

Day to day, you will be:
- Making outbound calls to individuals with outstanding private parking debt
- Discussing payment terms and offer solutions
- Handling difficult conversations, maintaining an empathetic and professional approach at all times
- Ensuring all interactions and agreements are accurately recorded on the CRM system
- Ensuring that all collection activities are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
- Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly collection targets

The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working within a call centre environment (essential)
- Have previous experience with collections (desirable)
- Be self-motivated and results oriented
- Possess strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Posses the ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and professionalism.
