Temporary Accommodation Visiting Officer temp: East London

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Temporary Accommodation Visiting Officer to join one of our most improved Local Authority clients in East London in a temporary vacancy for the next six months, working from their office 3 times a week.

This is a full time role for 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and you will be expected to:

* Visit temporary accommodation properties and complete occupancy checks
* Complete TA inspection reports for all visits
* Update all housing system following visit, this includes uploading inspection reports.
* Liaise and work closely with TA and Housing Solution teams.
* Signpost residents to relevant services
* Assist residents/customers with maintaining their accommodation.
* Work alongside the Housing Options team

Experience of dealing with difficult customers in a face to face setting, as well as having a sound knowledge of homelessness would be a real advantage for this post. A car driver and owner would be highly desirable, but not essential.
