Search Consultancy is looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to join the team on temporary roles in the Hospitality industry across varied catering sectors such as: Education, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Venues and Hospitals within Manchester.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
  • Dishwasher usage
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
  • Barista or coffee machine experience
  • Serve customers and use till with some cash handling
  • You will assist the kitchen team in the preparation of a mixture of hot and cold sandwiches, salads etc. You will also be in charge of counter service and customer service

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You MUST have a minimum of 6 months of UK full time experience in a busy catering facility and be able to work full time hours
  • Basic knowledge of table service
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Attention to detail and interpersonal skills!
