Our client, a leading trade association in the technology sector, is seeking a qualified Management Accountant on a temporary basis to support their busy team for the next 5-6 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, self-sufficient professional who thrives in a standalone role and is available for an ongoing assignment. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise and the ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.

Some of the duties would include:

• Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts, as well as two subsidiary companies
• Experience handling project budgets and accounts
• Managing all preparation for annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Experience with year-end statutory reporting, and VAT returns
• Knowledge and understanding of managing employee compensation e.g. payroll, PMI and pensions provision
• Experience with handling the company's financial processes, such as sales invoicing, monthly renewals and company policy
• Managing Purchase Ledgers, and managing the requisition pay process

The successful candidate will have:

• Fully qualified or part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent accounting certification.
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial planning and budgeting
• Experience working in a standalone role, ability to prioritise accordingly and efficiently
• A track record of preparing budgets, forecasts and analysis to support the business objectives and decision making
• Have a strategic mindset and problem solver, with ability to resolve financial challenges and streamline process
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy for all financial related procedures
