Test Engineer- Hertfordshire

If so, then I have the perfect opportunity to join a world leader in protection equipment, who are seeking a Test Engineer to join them at their Hertfordshire site.

Requirements for the Test Engineer Job in Hertfordshire:

  • Familiar with instrumentation systems, the use of signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Experience of liaison with engineering in solving technical issues.
  • Established experience of testing instrumentation equipment, including electronic testing and fault finding.
  • Minimum HNC required - HND preferred - in a relevant subject.
  • Good team player and communicator, flexible approach to multiple tasks, taking responsibility for own actions.

Responsibilities for the Test Engineer Job in Hertfordshire:

  • Required to support qualification activities for this system at test houses in the UK.
  • Will involve environmental, vibration and EMC testing where the test engineer will validate performance of the system following a specific qualification test.
  • Opportunity to grow this role to supporting other installations in the UK through preventative maintenance activities.

The role may require some travel, but all expenses are paid for.
