Test Manager

Test Manager | Greater Manchester (hybrid) 

Xpertise Recruitment has an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Test Manager to join our client on a 5-month contract.

This position requires a strong background in hardware-specific test delivery. This is an essential requirement and only applicants with this experience will be considered.

Requirements:

• Recent experience in hardware-specific test delivery.
• Proven ability to create detailed test plans and manage defects.
• Strong skills in device configuration and physical connectivity testing.
• Knowledge of hardware, components, and drivers.
• Hands-on testing experience in a physical environment or under lab conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans for hardware projects.
• Manage the entire testing process, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Configure devices and establish physical connectivity for testing purposes.
• Test hardware components, drivers, and other related elements.
• Perform hands-on testing in a lab environment to ensure all hardware functions correctly.

Duration: 5 months

Location: Greater Manchester (hybrid, on-site 2/3 times per week)

Start date: Early August

Day rate: £450 inside IR35
