Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer based within Wakefield, WF2

Our client is looking for a Testing and Inspection Electrician to undertake ECIR, Motor testing, Emergency ligting, Illumination Levels, RCD/RCBO, Static Discharge Leads, Supplementary Bonding to work alongside site team.

Available shifts / Locations below:

  • Monday until Friday (5 days a week)- This is a full-time position
  • Postcode: WF2 0XR
  • 07:00-15:30PM
  • £22.64 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
  • Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
  • This position is PAYE

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Must have at least 2 years previous Electrical testing experience
  • 18th Edition
  • Testing and Inspection Certificate
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team.
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship

Duties and experience required:

  • To be able to survey, test and inspect electrical installations.
  • To be able to identify faults and complete test reports to confirm with equipment is working safely and efficiently and which are condemned as unsafe to use.
  • To be able to carry out PAT
  • To be able to adhere to government and regulator guidelines.
  • To be able to fix faults and arrange for them to be repaired.
  • To be able to gain quotes for repair jobs.
  • To complete testing reports and electrical certifcates
